Computer models
These computer models are very good but sometimes they fail because of wrong data collection. So, we cannot stick to it as they are not 100% accurate. It is also a complex system which requires various things like atmospheric pressure and wind speed. However, its short-range forecast is usually correct but when it comes to long range forecast it fails drastically. It is better that you consider the computers five-day prediction only.
Statistical models
They are used to provide more insight to meteorologist so that they can do more accurate forecasts. Statically models use data from all the distinct models to give you a more refined look. It is more basically the combination of all the various models and data which are put together and zeroed in. it is most accurate but you cannot rely on it after 10th day. It is very accurate for tomorrow or day after tomorrow. But afterwards the efficiency of it goes down.
